Naturopathic Doctor -TELEMEDICINE

Available to increase accessibility & convenience for current patients at a distance or outside of the city. Once the appointment is booked, you will be contacted for advanced payment to reserve the time.

Acupuncture with Naturopathic Doctor

*Direct billing available* Acupuncture is covered under Naturopathic Services in most extended health plans. Acupuncture visits include medical and/or traditional Chinese acupuncture treatments. Dr. Heather is also trained in trigger point release and cupping therapy, which is added to acupuncture treatments as needed.

Dr. Heather Goldthorpe, Licensed Naturopathic Doctor (ND), M.Sc, H.BSc

In addition to attaining her Doctor of Naturopathy degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, Dr. Goldthorpe also holds a Master of Science degree in Cellular and Molecular Medicine from the University of Ottawa and an honors bachelor degree in Biomedical Science from the University of Guelph.

Dr. Goldthorpe has undergone additional training to obtain prescribing rights in the province of Ontario, which allows her to prescribe bio-identical hormones and desiccated thyroid, and perform intramuscular vitamin injections. This training has furthered her knowledge on pharmaceutical drugs, side effects, and drug-nutrient interactions.

Dr. Goldthorpe’s practice focuses on women’s health, metabolic function, brain health, gastrointestinal concerns, autoimmune disease, and pediatric care. She is passionate about patient-education and evidence-based treatments. Her protocols target the underlying cause of illness and including a combination of metabolic analyses, clinical nutrition, lifestyle changes, botanical medicine, and TCM/medical acupuncture.
